Amazing graphics of Crysis 2 on all platforms
Last year when the original Crysis hit the PC, then it was thought that such amazing and outstanding graphics weren’t touchable by PS3 or the Xbox 360. Yes, most of that is true still.
Crytek, the develper of Crysis, has tapped deeper into the the consoles of Sony and Microsoft than what it was realistically possible years before. The company promises now to deliver the best graphics that have ever been seen, regardless of platform. Well, it was not easy to achieve this for the developer.
Cevat Yerli, the CEO of Crytek sais: “The decision to enter the console market for engines was first driven by our desire to make console games. That’s what we always wanted to do.”
He also added further in the interview with Game Reactor, “The big challenge during the development of CryENGINE3 has been scaling the engine whilst maintaining the visual quality and performance. This is always challenging; problems occurred of course, but we’re really proud that our teams have managed to solve them as we proved in line with several engine presentations and will prove with Crysis 2.”
According to him, the console gamers will now be getting fresh new game paradigm with the release of Crysis 2. He mentioned, “I think for console gamers especially the freedom of Crysis 2 gameplay is very interesting. Crysis gameplay is not about ‘go anywhere’, it is about looking at a situation from a great vantage point and then formulating a plan which you proactively initiate and defeat your foes.”
CryEngine 3 powers three versions together
The Crysis 2 seems to become one hell of a game for the console owners. With the latest technology gone are the lush jungles. Instead now one will see New York. The PS3 as well as Xbox 360 owners will be proud of this new series because the CryEngine 3 is an amazing bit of tech.

In the recent edition of the Edge magazine Crytek had discussed some of the behind the engine features, mainly the Sandbox 3.
The magazine mentioned that Sandbox 3 can run a “fully featured, fully interactive editor” in even when the the console versions of the game runs.
It may be sounding something like the stuff of dreams for developers. The PlayStation 3 and also the Xbox 360 versions run in-sync alongside the PC version across all the three monitors. Moreover, it can be easily edited on the fly as it is needed with only a mouse and the keyboard.
According to the magazine, there is no downtime. Crysis 2 simply exists as multiformat. It has 2 testers play the console iterations and the third edits the game even when it is live. Apart from these, it is to be taken note that everything is shared. CryEngine 3 powers all the three versions together. Simply to say – “there is no port”.
Crytek says no compromise for PS3 for Crysis 2
The original Crysis had the PC gamers salivating at the graphics. It was thought how it would look in PS3 and Xbox 360. It won’t be a perfect match. But is it right henceforth?

The developer Crytek is on the way of developing Crysis 2 for even the Xobx 360 and the PS3 apart from the PC version.
There may be argument by the PC gamers. They argue that console versions will be just like a shoddy port and nothing more than that.
But… wait.
Cevat Yerli, the CEO of Crytek, recently told to the media that PS3 version of this new series is being developed alongside the PC version. He also said, “I don’t feel we’ve compromised anything.”
Earlier Yerli said, “We don’t need to dumb down the game; the technology provides all the horsepower we need to make a kick-ass 360 game and a kick-ass PS3 game, and push the PC gaming forward still.”
The Crysis 2 is being released by the end of this year.
Crysis 2 will have photorealistic graphics
Electronic Arts has announced Crysis 2 for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 (unlike the first, exclusive for PC parts, the second is a multi-platform).

The basis of the coming revolutionary FPS lies in its advanced engine CryENGINE 3. Few days back, the head of Crytek, Cevat Yerli reported that Crysis will be a full trilogy, and recently another member of the studio has shared more information about the sequel.
He said that one of the main features of Crysis 2 will be in its photorealistic graphics. According to the Turkish Game developer and CEO of Crytek, Cevat Yerli he says, “Crysis 2 is a very important project for us.
This is not just another series of Crysis, it is the first game that we have created for consoles and the first to work on the CryENGINE 3. We are pleased that we support such a powerful company like Electronic Arts Partners and we hope that together we can produce an excellent game and hold its grand presentation”.
Crysis2 and Free Radical
Crysis 2, The developer Free Radial will be working on it now though we don’t know how it’ll be working. But Indeed we don’t need to put up with the bad temper of irritated call from so called friend.

In spite of have corroded memory it won’t be problem for Crysis2 as Free Radical , the same British developer behind the outstanding Time splittersseries where it has been forced to quit doors after the debacle i.e. Haze.
Hopefully, Crysis 2 will be released for the for the PC, Xbox360 and PS3
As per Crytek boss Faruk Yerli , they are working on “a part of the game” by extending their collaboration on the project.
